YMCA Afterschool Programs are closing the academic achievement gap with programs that improve students' educational readiness, engagement and outcomes, while helping them abound socially, emotionally and physically. Our programs center around summertime learning loss prevention, afterschool, campsite, child care, education and leadership, career exploration, food, STEAM, swim, sports & play, and other programs that encourage kids to exist agile and healthy while learning.

Uncomplicated PROGRAMS
Y programs have been irresolute the lives of children and families in Southward Florida for over 100 years. The Y has evolved to accommodate the growing number of working families, regardless of economic status, and has embraced the philosophy that everyone benefits when youth of all cultural backgrounds and abilities work together. The Y Experience takes afterschool programming above and beyond the quality standard using evidenced-based components like Project-Based Learning/STEAM , YFit using SPARK curriculum, Social Skills using various curriculum, Literacy Activities, Family Involvement Initiatives, and Bookish enrichment through homework assistance and technology.

Centre SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Teen club programs are designed to strengthen youth involvement and connections with their customs, family unit, schoolhouse and peers. Adolescent programs employ best practice strategies, including enquiry-based program models and curricula, to minimize gamble and strengthen protective factors that develop resiliency needed for college and career success. Youth grow into independent, productive adults. The program allows several high-involvement activities that build on the youth's voice.

Summer & NON-SCHOOL Twenty-four hours PROGRAMS
To minimize the Achievement Gap the Y takes a unique approach to non-school day and summer programming. Non only exercise we offer the fun traditional activities typically associated with camp, just nosotros also place an accent on increasing physical activity, improving academic performance and pedagogy water safety. Our camp programs cultivate positive recreational experiences, while recognizing each individual child'due south needs and abilities. Campers amend and/or maintain their physical fitness and bookish levels through participation in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math), Literacy Activities, Social Skills, Projection-Based Learning and Family Involvement.

The Children's Trust (TCT) is a dedicated source of revenue derived from holding taxes, established by voter plebiscite in 2002. The agency is dedicated to funding evidenced-based programs that achieve positive outcomes for children and families in our community and deliver a robust return on investment. The mission is to partner with the customs to plan, advocate for and fund strategic investments that better the lives of all children and families in Miami-Dade County. TCT envisions a customs that works together to provide the essential foundations to enable every child to achieve their full potential… Because All Children Are Our Children.
THE UNITED WAY
The United Way has served to meet the varying and diverse challenges facing communities throughout Miami-Dade county. Through partnerships and collaborations, the United Way supports programs designed to increase protective factors for youth, assistance working families sustain employment and assist families reach their total potential.
OCEAN REEF FOUNDATION
The Foundation's mission is to encourage and administer effective philanthropy past the Ocean Reef Community, supporting charitable efforts throughout Sea Reef and the surrounding areas and helping Members to meet their private charitable goals.
The Community Grant funds dozens of worthy charities in the areas of Education, Youth, Wellness & Family Services and the customs at Bounding main Reef and in Homestead, Florida City and the Upper Keys. To date, the program has awarded more than $6.1 1000000.
